Hyundai Steel is expanding heat treatment capacity at the Dangjin 1 Heavy Plate Plant to increase production of high-strength and high-toughness heavy plates. The special steel plant within the steelworks, along with the rebar facilities, is regarded as a core facility of the Dangjin Steelworks.
